Build Your Job Hunting Skills

Hundreds of Louisvillians have attended my two "Build Your Skills: A Job Hunter's Guide to Success" events designed to help job seekers improve their job-hunting techniques. Residents of the 3rd Congressional District had the opportunity to hear directly from local employers about the kinds of skills they look for when hiring new workers.

I organized that event to help Louisvillians obtain and strengthen the skills needed to take full advantage of the recovering economy and the new jobs that will continue to be created in the months ahead. Participants attended resume workshops and one-on-one interview trainings to brush up on their job hunting skills.
